By placing an order on artifactscoffee.co.za, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).

1. About Us

2. Orders and Acceptance

An order constitutes an offer to purchase. It is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. If a product becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you to arrange a refund or substitution.

3. Pricing

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. Shipping is calculated at checkout before payment. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and will notify you before processing if the correct price differs from what was displayed.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely by PayFast. Your card details are never transmitted to or stored by Artifacts Coffee. By completing payment you agree to PayFast's terms of service.

Tasting notes are descriptive guides based on our cupping process and may vary based on your brewing method, grind setting, and personal palate. Roast dates and origin information are provided in good faith and may vary slightly between batches.

All content on this website including the Artifacts Coffee name, logo, product photography, and copy is the property of Artifacts Coffee and may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Artifacts Coffee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order to which the claim relates.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
